Family bathrooms that work for everyone

A family bathroom has to cope with a lot: busy mornings, bath time for the kids and towels everywhere. When I plan one, I think about how the room will actually be used. That might mean keeping a bath with a good shower over it, adding a vanity unit so there's somewhere to put everything, or fitting a heated towel rail so towels dry properly.

If you're updating your home, it's often the right moment to sort the heating and hot water too. I fit new radiators, move old ones and swap them for column or designer styles, then balance the system so every room warms up properly.
