My work: before and after

Every photo on this page is a real job I've done, not a catalogue picture. Most are before-and-after shots taken from the same spot, so you can see exactly what changed.

Bathrooms, shower rooms and en suites

I cover Stanford-le-Hope, Corringham, Brentwood, Billericay, Hockley, Leigh-on-Sea and nearby. These are some of the rooms I've stripped back and fitted from scratch, from big family bathrooms to compact shower rooms where every centimetre counts.

What to look for

When you look through these, pay attention to the details as well as the overall look. Check how the tiles are set out, with even cuts at the edges and lines that run straight around the room. Look at the joins where the tiles meet the bath, the shower tray and the basin. Notice how little pipework you can see. Those are the things I take most care over, because they're what make a bathroom still look good years later. I learned that as an apprentice in big old Victorian houses in London, where every detail mattered.
