Radiators and hot water cylinders

Alongside bathrooms, I fit and replace radiators and hot water cylinders for homes around Stanford-le-Hope, Corringham, Brentwood, Billericay, Hockley and Leigh-on-Sea.

Radiators

Whether a room never feels warm enough or the old radiators just look tired, I can help.

  • New radiators where you need extra heat, such as a cold bedroom or a new extension.
  • Moving radiators so they're not stuck behind the sofa or under the spot where you want a unit.
  • Column and designer radiators if you want something that looks as good as it works.
  • Heated towel rails, which are often part of a bathroom refit.

Once the work's done I'll balance the system, so the heat is shared out properly and the radiators furthest away aren't left lukewarm.

Hot water cylinders

If your hot water runs out too quickly, the cylinder is getting old, or it's started to leak, it may be time for a new one. I fit and replace both types:

  • Vented cylinders, the traditional type fed by a cold water tank in the loft.
  • Unvented cylinders, which take water straight from the mains, so you get better pressure at the taps and shower.

Tidy work that lasts

Radiators and cylinders mean pipework, and I take care to run it neatly in copper, keep it out of the way and leave the place clean. Twenty years in the trade has taught me that tidy work is easier to live with and easier to look after later.

If you're having a new bathroom fitted, it's a good time to think about a new towel rail or a better hot water supply too, so it can all be planned in one go.
