En suites and cloakrooms

Small rooms take just as much care as big ones, sometimes more. I fit new en suites and freshen up tired ones, and I put in downstairs toilets and cloakrooms for homes around south Essex.

En suites

An en suite is often squeezed into a corner of a bedroom or a box room, so every few centimetres count. When I come round, I'll look at where the pipework and waste can run, where the shower will sit best and how much room you'll have to move around once it's all in.

I can fit a brand-new en suite or strip out and replace an old one. That covers the shower, toilet and basin, a vanity unit if you want the storage, and tiling the walls and floor neatly. If you've already picked out your suite, I'm happy to fit what you've bought.

Downstairs toilets and cloakrooms

A downstairs toilet is handy for a busy family and for guests. These are small rooms, but they still deserve a proper finish. Whether it's replacing a dated cloakroom or fitting a toilet and basin under the stairs, I'll make sure the pipework is neat, the fittings are solid and the tiling is set out properly.

Making a small space work

  • Wall-hung and compact suites can make a small room feel bigger and easier to clean.
  • A vanity unit gives you somewhere to put things, so the room stays tidy.
  • A walk-in shower instead of a tray and door can open up a tight en suite.
  • Tiling choices matter more in a small room, and I'll help you think them through.

What customers say

"Couldn't fault a single thing. From the first phone call to the final walkthrough, the service was first class. Our en suite looks better than we ever imagined, the tiling in particular is immaculate. Harry turned up when he said he would, kept the house tidy every evening, and was a pleasure to have around. Highly recommended." Melanie, Google review
