Bathroom fitter and plumber in Stanford-le-Hope

Stanford-le-Hope is the town my business takes its name from, so it's fitting that it's one of the main places I work. I'm Harry, a plumber with twenty years in the trade, and I fit new bathrooms and take care of everyday plumbing jobs for homes in Stanford-le-Hope and the villages around it, including Horndon-on-the-Hill, East Tilbury, Linford and Fobbing.

Swapping the bath for a walk-in shower

One of the most popular jobs I do is taking out a bath that hardly gets used and putting in a big walk-in shower. It's easier to step into, quicker to clean and can make a small bathroom feel far more open. I'll strip the old room back, sort out the pipework and waste, and tile it properly, so the finished room looks right and works well. Have a look at wet rooms and walk-in showers for more detail and before-and-after photos.

Full bathrooms and smaller jobs

If you want the whole room redone, I'll handle it from rip-out to the last bead of mastic, so you only deal with me. Bought your own suite? I'll fit it. Not sure what to choose? I'll point you to good options at Bathroom Mountain and Topps Tiles. See bathroom refits for how a full job works.

I also take on the plumbing that just needs sorting: dripping taps, leaking pipes, running toilets, blocked wastes, new radiators and replacement hot water cylinders. These smaller jobs can often be priced from a couple of photos.

What customers say

"Really professional throughout. We couldn't be happier with our new shower room. The standard of workmanship is superb, and Harry was outstanding, working efficiently and clearly knows his trade. We'd absolutely recommend him." Nancy, Google review

A clear price, then the job done properly

For a bathroom, I'll come round, look at the room and talk through what you'd like. You'll get a clear price that says what's included, so there are no surprises. Then I'll get it done tidily and on time, and keep you updated along the way.
